We just moved into a new house (absolutely gorgeous, but a little cookie-cuttery!) near Puget Sound. The Contained Gardener and I have been talking about growing vegetables for a few years but haven't been able to. We aren't allowed to change the current landscaping, but we have plenty of patio space, so a container garden seemed the perfect solution.
We have planted about nine different types of vegetables in seed-starting trays (they're like mini-greenhouses) and have quite a few sprouts. We're hoping to start our herbs tomorrow.
Our goal is to churn out enough food to pay for the supplies for our garden and to enjoy our new backyard. Will update with photos and more details on plants soon!
